Help Me Make An Arguement For 8800

Okay, so this is the scoop.

My boss is considering a request for an upgrade to a new BB. I'm asking for the 8800 but in passing, he mentioned possible informatics cutbacks which may have him leaning to the 8700. I'll be honest...I like the idea of having GPS on the BB...its cool and would come in useful. I also like the form factor, but none of these a real valid arguements for work purposes.

Can anyone give me suggestions on possible arguments (they have to be practical arguements for work, not personal) to get the 8800 over the 8700? I guess I'm thinking features wise.

One I thought of is battery life, but not sure that will cut it. Anything else outstanding on the 8800 over 8700 that makes it a much better choice for work?

    Thanks.

GPS, if it is suitable to your buisness. Extra storage for document and research material. I don't know what you have now......but the 8700 is a darn good work phone. Sturdy, good battery life, and with the Seidio extended battery, it makes a darn good weapon.

GPS is about the only real advantage, but you can use a BT GPS puck with the 8700.

GPS is not enough fight... Try the track ball, easier to go through when you are driving.

Good luck. There really aren't any strong arguments for a business case leaning in favor of the 8800 over the 8700. The 8700 is still a really good BB.

Thanks folks, but GPS is likely not going to be the kicker given it is not needed for work. He'll argue that I have flash stick to carry docs, and not sure he'll care about the roller ball vs track wheel arguement. It might work if I had a dexterity issue that required a roller ball, but he knows I don't.

What about the phone quality? I have a separate cell now because I hate the phone on my 7290. My hearing is so/so.....is the phone much better on the 8800 than the 8700?
