    GPS Enables??

I just noticed that when i do a #HELP* it list the device capabilities. In the list it says "GPS Enabled"

I am on the verizon network and i know that i can not use the GPS unless i have VZ Navigator. So does the GPS being enabled just mean that verizon can track me?

    Thanks.

It means that it has a GPS receiver. Whether or not you use VZ Navigator the receiver still exists in your 8830.

Heh, and kentrg is absolutely right, carriers don't need GPS to track you, everything they need to find your location is built into nearly every phone that existis today.
