    freeing up memory

    I deleted the basic stuff extra dialects, BB maps, sample material...what else can I do to free up space. Currently I'm at 19-20 megs but how can I get more I see some people with the pearl have 40-45m free, how???

    DO you use a Memory card for Pictures and Music? If not a Media card will help. Try pulling the Battery, just turning off and On will not free up Much, Keep on top of e-mails ans Text messages. Also you can hold down the ALT key and type LGLG amd clear the event warning log, I do this about once a week and pull the battery once a week

    Why do you need all that free memory? 20mb is plenty of free memory.

    just to have more space so I dont have to take out my battery once a week.......

    im using a 1 gig sandisk. how do you delete the bb demo video on the 8300? if you know I'd appreciate the info-thanks

    I deleted mine from options>advanced options>applications then click on what you want to remove and hit the menu button and deleted it from there, thats what I did no the 88309 should work for the 8300 also
