I know how to do upgrades, but I have some technical issues with this new os. Mainly BB Messenger not being to see messages sent to me. I can see ones sent to me but that's all. I'm sure it was the update that caused it. How do I go back to the os I had before without losing anything?

Re: downgrading os without losing settings

    1. Uninstall the offending OS from your desktop.

    2. Reinstall the OS you want to downgrade to (if you previously uninstalled it).

    3. Connect BB to PC, start Application Loader.

    4. Read the options as they are displayed. Choose to retain your applications and settings.

    5. Desktop Manager will backup your apps, settings, and data, wipe out the old OS, install the new one, and restore your data apps, and settings.
