    Re: Deleting Unused Languages

Connect your device to Desktop Manager.

    Click on Add/Remove Programs

Click through until you get to the menu with the long list of programs installed on the device.

Look for the different language packs (Should be towards the top).

Unclick the ones you no longer want to use.

    Click next/finish

Click all the way through and it will remove them from your device.

This can be done for any program that is pre-installed on your device that you want to get rid of.

If you ever want them back, just repeat the process backwards and they will reload.

When you select app loader, it will "read" the current applications installed on your blackberry. Select - de-select the wants you want, including the different language packages

well on the BB, try going to Options / Advanced Options / Applications

do you see the languages there? if so just highlight, then hit the menu button and select delete... say no for reboot until you delete the last one, then you can say yes to reboot

    Re: Deleting Unused Languages

It doesn't always show up. On the blackberry itself, goto settings>options>advanced options>applications and you can delete them from there. Just highlight the language, click the menu key to the left of the trackball and select delete.

They can be seen from the advance options but when I highlight them and press menu, there's no option for me to delete.

Mine did not show up as you are stating until I reloaded the unit software. When I did this, I had the option to uncheck.
