Curve is a bit smaller, sleeker & has a camera.

The 8820 has no camera, but has Wifi and (for T-Mobile) the ability to use UMA to make WiFi calls. For me; while being able to web browse with WiFi is very cool, UMA is the "killer app". If you travel overseas, calling back to the USA via WiFi is "FREE". As in no roaming & no overseas surcharges! Just uses your plan minutes or if you have T-Mobile's H@H feature ($10 monthly) it really is free!

The curve is great for Emailing just like the 8820. The keys are a lot bigger than on the curve And the 8820 has GPS and wifi which the curve has wifi and camera. ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

I moved from the curve to the 8820 by choice. If you are a heavy e-mail user its a no brainer, superior keyb and wider screen for reading docs web pages etc. I thought I'd miss the camera but wifi and GPS more than compensate.

    Just do it.
