    Question Completely wiping a 8820

    Hi Everyone,
My first ever post, I only joined a few moments ago though

I have been trying to find a way to do a Hard Reset (master reset) on a 8820 but can only find soft reset.

The 8820 does not have a reset button, only way I could see was via OPTIONS and do the old Wipe BlackBerry but this does not take me back to brand new.

I want to be able to go back to the settings that were set when the device came out of a box. Can anyone tell me how to do this?

    Thanks in advance
    G

    Guys,
I've tried this and it dont work.
Our users change stuff like fonts etc. When I do a Wipe Handheld it retains the changed font settings.....

It rebooted, white screen for a short time, then back to, what I thought was factory default, but the font size/language changes still applied.

When you do the wipe, it asks you if you want to retain some settings or go back to "out of the box".
I don't remember the actual words, but you get the drift.
