    Browsing the Internet

    Hi All

Just got the 8800. A couple of questions on Internet browsing:

    1. Are there two types of browsers?
    2. Seems like the ISA server is blocking me going out. Any ways round this?

On a cost level, i have 6MB limit with vodafone, after which the cost is £1 per MB. Last month my usuage was 2MB. If i start browsing i.e. browse my hotmail and yahoo web accounts, can i assume i wont go over the limit that easily?

    Thanks

Normally if u d/l emails using the mail client would cost lesser than u access your mailbox with your web browser. U can set filter so that you won't receive unwanted mails.

    1. Three or more, actually. You have the Blackberry Browser which is only available to BES users, the Internet Browser which uses the BB's own TCP connection, and the WAP browser. There are also third party browsers such a Opera Mini.

    2. What's the ISA server that you're referring to?
