    Bluetooth & Desktop Manager

    Hello All

I knwo this topic seems to be coved on the net, but a solution is not.

    I have a BB 8800,
My laptop is a HP NX 7400.

I have the pre-installed Bluetooth drivers.

When I open Desktop manager, the bluetooth options are Greyed out under connection settings.

I think this is to do with issues over the drivers, windows xop driver should be there not the preinstalled ones.

I have uninstalled these today already, but when i restarted computer would not see the bluetooth and turn it on but not alow me to do anything esle (ie, see bleutooth folder, connect with BB, or mess around the bluetooth settings), so I have to reinstall the HP software again.

Anyone know what on earth I should be doing?

    Thanks

    Re: Bluetooth & Desktop Manager

actually I had this issue connecting my BB to HP TX 1250 via bluetooth..
Guessig afterwards this could probably have been resolved by using the correct drivers.. but I found a better way of transfering..

In the end I gave up and used USB cable, its faster, its more stable, its safer.. go buy one

    Hi
Yes I have one of those already which I use at home for main computer, dont really want to me having another cable along with me.

Whats weird is that the audio gateway actually works, just the connecting it to the desktop manager
