    Blue tooth hands free

    Hi

We have several 8800's but one of them refuses to connect properly to the handsfree system in a BMW. We have tried other 8800's and they connect OK it is just one device that has the problem. When I look at the settings in the BB it does not show the hands-free and headset in services list, even though it says it has connected by bluetooth.

Is there anyway these services could have been turned of in the BB and where ?

    Thanks
    Andrew

Have you looked under the bluetooth settings? Click on it like you are going to pair with a device, and then click cancel or stop. Then when it is done it shows your devices click the blackberry key (it should show disable or enable bluetooth). Obviously if enable is an option the bluetooth has been disabled. We had one odd one out of the box like that. Works great with the 740il.

    Hi

Bluetooth is activated OK, and it pairs with the hands free kit in the car, but it does not show the hands free as a service in the connection.

Other BB's work OK with this car so I'm getting desperate - maybe a complete re-set of the device is required ?
