It has to be done from the provider, just call them and ask, they should be able to do something
I'm french canadian so I can also help you in french, just PM me
UNLESS it is for a BETA OS, it's at your own risk and I won't support it

It depends on the carrier if they can block it or not. Tmobile cannot. There are also 3rd party programs to accomplish the same thing although i do not know which off the top of my head.

What I've done before is add someone to my address book that I don't want to talk to. But I make their name "DO NOT ANSWER" in my address book. Then when they call I just hit ignore and go on with life. It's easy, it's free, and it works.

It works to some extent but they come up with ways to get around it. I am trying what used to be iBerry Black and White now known as iCall manager. It seems ok so far but I still need to play with it.

    Re: Block a phone number?

Ok. Here's the assumption. You have someone who calls you from time to time. You dont want to answer the phone. You'd much rather not even know.

Here's another way to do this. Edit the current ringer profile to have a custom ring tone for the person that you'd rather not even know about. When the person calls the phone does ring... but the ringtone is blank or silent therefore the phone goes through the motions but you never hear it. Works for me.

Hum... I'm about to make a silent ringtone... Sounds like a good idea. Hope this helps.
