That's not so bad, I...err my dad caughed up 300 for my pearl, so hey its not that bad, and plus if you go to the tmobile store you could get a deal, you never know... That's just what I think...

You're Right.... Whoa, Whoa, WHoa....How you gonna pay that much first of all for a phone that has no camera. If you currently rocking the 8700 or even the Pearl, you still better off. Just to show ur friends you pimpin' the new blackberry while you done went and spent all your allowance for 4 weeks that you made, my opinion, IT AIN'T WORTH IT AT ALL! I'm gonna wait just a couple more months for the 8300.

    Like a friend said,

$34.99 ( Cingy BIS) - $19.99 ( TMO BIS) = $15.00 x 24 months= $360. I'd say you get a break. just my thoughts. I wouldn't change carriers simply because of this bb however. Not that impressive for me anyways.

Why do you assume that everyone needs or wants a camera? It's not the end-all-be-all feature for everyone. I've purchased plenty of BB's without cameras including the 8800 and many, many other have as well. If you need/want the camera, that's cool. Different people have different needs (that should be obvious, it seems).

You shouldn't ever change carriers without seriously looking at coverage first. And I don't mean coverage maps -- I mean checking out real world coverage where you need it.

Coverage is not the same with all GSM carriers (or even TMO and Cingular, for that matter). Again, you have to check real world coverage where you need it. These generaliations on coverage are completely meaningless. TMO was totally unusable at my last home. Cingular had excellent coverage. That's why I use Cingular.

its the same as the other competitors, and I'm sure that it will cme down in price soon. I think they have it at that price to attract business users and maybe not the average consumer, thats just my opinion, for whatever its worth

That is funny.... And tmo is selling it for 349! They are the exact same phone and software.

Oddly the newest tmo wing is 499.99 full price...... Weird

As soon as tmob drops the 8320 the price will Drop dramatically on the 8800. They were pretty slick the way they launched it. They stripped Away the 8700, and any other bb that has been floating around tmob forever, and now only offer 2!! I think there trying to catch those ppl who can't quite hold out for the 8320 and give in to just getting an 8800

The 8700 is still available on T-Mobile. No 7105t anymore, but you don't have to get the 8800.
