    OK...so I just figured out how to do this on my 8100 and I just bought the 8800 for the hubby...I know he's gonna want the tmo theme with the icons on the bottom...is that available for the 8800? Also---where can I find the OS to download to the computer? ALSO---am i going to have to completely wipe out the 8100 off our computer?

    i have te 8800 with the tmo theme, i got the os from cingular. you shouldnt need to wipe the 8100 of your computer as dm recognizse the bbs for what they are

    Well how do u delete the file? Im trying to intall italy OS and everytime I install it then try loading it throught application loader from DM it never recognizes it. IS there certain things I need to delete prior?? Please help

    PS I have 8100 Tmobile.

    To install an os other that the one specific for your device/provider, you would need to delete the vendor.xml file

    If you're deleting vendor.xml to load a different carrier's OS you need to shut down Desktop Manager, delete the file, and then restart DM.
