Question 8800 vs 8820 can someone please tell me if the shell

Hey folks, I need your help, I'm upgrading to an 88XX series but I'm unsure as to which to pick, I just came out of the ATT store and actually felt the 8820 and I loved the way it felt in my hand, now I can pickup the 8800 cheaper and I don't really need wifi due to my unlimited data plan, so the question I wanted answered, is if the 8800 has the same exact body and feel as the new 8820.

    thanks in advance

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~look at it this way buy the 8800 for cheap and if you want the 8820 file an insurance claim later

Yes Google Maps works fine with the 8800. I use Wayfinder 6, though, as my Service Provider is giving a 6 month free subscription here in India. The only issue with Google Maps is that their server gets overloaded sometimes, so the maps don't refresh smoothly once in a while. I haven't tried Yahoo maps with GPS, and would be happy for a feedback! Cheers!

    HI
I have both 8800 and 8820 and in my opinion 8820 is superior. To start with 8820 has the newest OS and it supports A2DH meaning that you can run the media player with a bluetooth headphone something that you cannot do with 8800. The GPS connecion is much faster on 8820 and above all you have WIFI. Looks wise they are both the same.

Hi. I have both 8800 and 8820. As far as i'm concerned, they are identical except that 8820 has wifi. I think 8800 was meant to have wifi but RIM ran into some difficulties. I think you should go for 8800 as you don't need the wifi. One trick though.... i turn off network signal on 8820 and use wifi at home to surf the net at no cost at all.
