I'm a T-Mobile Retail Sales Rep and am a new, very impressed owner of a white BB Pearl. I acquired this magnificent device through a BB Specialist Course taught by RIM instructors. Not trying to spread rumors but they asked for our feedback and support for the 8800 for a US T-Mobile launch. For some reason T-Mobile has either delayed or nixed the launch. With the insane success of the pearl I don't see how it would not launch. Let me know what you think.
I hope it comes out soon. This is the second time I had heard stuff about T-Mo getting a new BB and the deal fell through. I was looking forward to getting the 7130 seen here http://www.discoverblackberry.com/de...d=H0,C141,P164 but settled for the Pearl LOL

I believe it was on Wednesday in the middle commercial set (about 15 min mark). This was the episode where they announced who was getting kicked off not the long one on Tuesday where you casted your votes.

Any BB can be broken. Trust me, I've seen every model trashed since we deploy BB's for our organization. When the 8700's first came out people had the exact same concerns about how fragile they perceived the 8700 to be. I've dropped my 8800 on concrete several times without any problems. Others have dropped and damaged them. It's YMMV as it is with any model.

Maybe they're looking to push the 8320? I don't see why they wouldn't get the 8800 or 8820 out since they do have a good number of corporate clients.

FWIW, I got my 8800 yesterday from T-Mobile *UK* (as a stand-alone business user though). I'll be very glad to send the 8100 back now; it really feels like an upgrade from the 8100 (which is pretty good for its size). Surely they will release it in the USA, too?
