8800 Spotted in US T-Mobile Commercial

Was watching American Idol last night (No I'm not an Idol fan but I have a friend that can't watch it alone) and I saw a T-Mobile Commercial featuring the 8800. I know they released it in Germany already but could this mean they will get it here soon? Maybe I'll call them up and say I want the one in the commercial....hehe

It could... But there's no firm release date yet.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~man is the pearl that bad? I'm glad I stuck with my 8700 for now! I would definatly love to see a new qwerty bb for tmo but I have concerns on how delicate they seem to be. My 8700 has some serious battle scars and is still running strong! I've sat on it, droped it kicked it, dropped it in a puddle (I rescued it real quick...by kicking it!), and left it in my car for 8 hours in 90 degree heat. Other then some scratches on the body no problems. Where I've heard of the 8800 being practically useless after one goodx drop!

I'm a T-Mobile Retail Sales Rep and am a new, very impressed owner of a white BB Pearl. I acquired this magnificent device through a BB Specialist Course taught by RIM instructors. Not trying to spread rumors but they asked for our feedback and support for the 8800 for a US T-Mobile launch. For some reason T-Mobile has either delayed or nixed the launch. With the insane success of the pearl I don't see how it would not launch. Let me know what you think.

Yeah. I went to upgrade the OS to 4.2.1.66 over Spring Break and when I unplugged it from the PC to leave, it wouldn't turn on. All I saw was the red LED flashing 2x. I pulled the battery out while I was gone and was up until 5 am CDT restoring it.
