FYI, I called a T-Mobile UK sales rep yesterday, and she said that the 8800 was showing on their system as "coming soon" but no exact date was given. Separately, a Vodafone UK rep offered me the 8800 as part of a contract plan; he gave the impression I could have had it straight away. So, does anyone know what is the common window of exclusivity for a single carrier? In other words, if we assume Vodafone has exclusive right over the BB 8800 in the UK for a period, is that period likely to be 30 days, 90 days, or something else? |
