    8800 blow up

Ok, here's what I did. I did a backup on my pearl. Then did a device switch to the 8800. Now the damn thing won't turn on as soon as I hit a key, it shuts off. Do I have to do a wipe again?!?!?!?

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~i spoke with a verizon rep (tech) when I had problems using device switch from 8703 to 8830. Ha stated sometimes when you do a backup/restore it will try to restore all old settings to new device. I had a problem because it was trying to put settings from 8703 onto 8830 which caused it to lock up. I had to check which programs were compatible and selectively restore each one on the new 8830. Time consuming but well worth it no problems since

Wow I must have been lucky. When Wifey and I switched from 8700c to her Pearl and my 8800c, Device swap worked flawlessly
