Is there a way to upgrade the 8800 OS to 4.5 using BES 4.1.6 OTA?

Is there a way to force the Application Loader from DM to look in a certain place for software upgrades and then install that version, without loading the OS onto the users PC. I know I can go into Application Loader and Browse to my share to install the OS. However, I think doing that will confuse my BB users.

    DM version: 4.3

I am fairly new to BES / BB Administration and am just trying to find the easiest way to upgrade all company BB's to OS version 4.5.

First off, this is not OS 4.5.0.108 for the 8800, it is OS 4.5.0.81. A device OS should always be referred to by the Application version, not the Package version. It only serves to confuse everyone to thinking there is a new OS version out, when it is not a new version.

To the poster above, did you remember to delete the vendor.xml file?
