I need to get the key to access my home network. The network is wpa psk and the data encryption is tkip
Can anyone tell me how to find they key?

Normally, you set it up when you set up the wireless router/access point. If it's set already out of the box, then you should see if any of the documentation states what the default key / configuration is.

Edit: You should at least be able to logon to the router using whatever credentials are the default (or if you changed them, use those obviously), and can either see the key or reset it on the wireless configuration page. Unfortunately, just about every router / access point is different, so I can't tell you exactly where it is. (But the documentation should be able to.)
