I currently own a blackberry 8220, I need a device to run windows mobile. I was wondering if there is anyway to delete rim software and load windows mobile on to my phone? I need to run windows mobile but don't want to have to buy another phone. I was just wondering if anyone has done it or is it even possible?

A while back there was software that could be loaded onto WM to include BB features.

Highly unlikely to be technically possible at this stage. If you are looking for BlackBerry functionality on Windows Mobile though, there is hope:

Gotta agree that I don't believe this is possible. I have never seen anything even eluding to the idea of it having been done.

You could probably order one from China lol. Seriously they have BlackBerry phones where they install Windows Mobile on their devices.

Sorry, this just isn't possible. The underlying hardware is completely incompatible. Maybe if you got a team of RIM developers and MS developers in the same room, they might be able to cobble something together... in 18-24 months.

Also skeptical. But, post back if you find something!
