Which of these methods uses the least battery power?

I have always wondered which method of talking on the bb uses the least battery power. The methods I have are

    1. Talking on the BB as a phone
    2. Using a Bluetooth headset
    3. Using the built in speaker phone (if exists)
    4. Using a corded hands free ear bud set

I figure that in order of LEAST (slowest) to MOST (fastest) battery consumption would be

    4 < 1 < 2 < 3

This is just my guess, even though sometimes I wonder if perhaps using Bluetooth (2) consumes a whole lot of power, probably more than using the Speakerphone (3)

    What are your thoughts?

I am not sure if this has been discussed before. If so I apologize

Not exactly sure here, but I think you are probably pretty close...I agree with the Bluetooth also...

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~I know when I use my Bluetooth, it seems the battery drains pretty fast.
Now with this said. I rarely use the phone option on my Berry. I mainly do text, email and bbmessenger.

I don't use a lot of phone time, but when I do, it is often BT. I think the BT eats up more battery. But I haven't paid a ton of attention to it.

I use the Bluetooth the most often. I would say it is definently a battery drainer. I guess it depends on how much you use each one...

When I used my 7100t, I could only use the speaker phone or the wired headset it came with. I was unable to use the BT function due to constant dropped calls. My battery lasted better with the wired headset than it did with BT (when it worked).

This is what I've seen with my user's devices and with my own 8700c.
Actually, I'd put having a Nextel device first, but there are just 2 users @ work with them.

    1. Using a Bluetooth headset
    2. Talking on the BB as a phone
    3. Playing Games
    4. Using the built in speaker phone (if exists)
    5. Using a corded hands free ear bud set
