    Which is the best BB?

I am upgrading from my 7290 to a newer blackberry. I am still confused which is the best BB they got out there now. Maybe some of you who's got more BB knowledge can help me out. I figure if I was upgrading to a new one, I might as well get the baddest one. Which ones are the new ones and which ones are the baddest and why?

I honestly think this is based on opinion. I have some exec's that LOVE the 8700, some that love the 7130, and some that love their 7250/7290's. Its all based on opinion and preferance to me. Now, if you want the latest and greatest, thats another story.

Re: Which is the best BB?

I love my 7100 series BlackBerry devices. I am currently using the 7105t, previously a 7100t, for the portability, small phone size package and the SureType (2 letters on most keys and the ability to learn the most frequently used words).

That being said, there's also the 8700g series that's been recently introduced if you want to continue using the full keyboard. I have used a full keyboard sized BB (I had a 7730) which was not as portable or reliable.

Just a little help. I have had a total of 7 BB (3 full keyboard, including a 950, and 4 7100 series). Had to peek at your profile to find your current carrier. Now, if you are thinking about leaving T-I have used full keyboard sized BB's (I had a 7730) and it was ok but it was not nearly as portable or as reliable (signal dropped any time I left the house)

Just my opinion since I peeked at your profile and saw you are with T-Mobile. Now, if you decide to leave T-Mobile, that throws a curveball into the situation.

Really depends on your preference. I personally prefer a full qwerty keyboard. If you're the same then get an 8700 series device. Otherwise, get a 7130 series. Your first selection criteria will be answered by the carrier you choose though as not all carriers have all models.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~so I upgraded! I lied! I didn't get the 7105t like I thought I was. I ended up getting the 8700g after owning a 7290 in less than a month. I love bbs! Especially this new one. Thanks all!

Re: Which is the best BB?

Yeah, you made a great decision, I also prefer the full qwerty keyboard. I got my 7105t for such a steal I couldn't pass it up around $150.00 but I do still miss the full keyboard. I'm still looking toward the 8700g but $350.00 is a lotta buckeroos. Still I'm lovin this 7105t the sleekness, the color and suprisingly suretype is working pretty good. Have a great time with your new 8700g!
