In my opinion the older bb's are more durable than the newer generations. What do you guys think?

Our toughest so far has been the 7520n then the 7290. That guy could take a good bounce and still be great. Much more durable than any 71XX or 87XX BB.

My co-woker got in a motorcycle accident and said that while he was on ground he saw his blackberry (7520) vibrating with a new email.

Had a co-worker wipe out on a jet ski with her 7290. I know it sounds crazy but was wearing it because she was on-call and didnt think about it when she got on the jet ski. She immediately took out battery and SIM and let it dry. It worked fine that night. The achilles heel of the 7290 is its display! I have a collection of them! LOL

I say the real old schools. The 850-950 pager types.

I got my hands on an old one about 2 months ago and since I wasn't going to ever use it, decided to take it outside and see how far I could throw it.

Then decided to play catch with it.

It finally met its demise when we opted to use it for batting practice.

I haven't broken any of mine from the 6230 to the 8800 (and they have all been dropped on concrete) so I can't really say that any of them are more durable than any of the others...
