    Where do you look for updates?

    When new OS's come out, how do you know? Where are you looking? Do you just randomly look, or is thre a notification that you get?

    Color---it's nothing but a hue of the rainbow...why do people place such importance in it?

    Unfortunatly Providers don't really Notifiy you. They are usaaly posted here Buy Device and then lists the carrier. SO the place to start is http://blackberryforums.pinstack.com...urve_83xx.html You can load other carrier Software as long as the model is the same. You just have to delete the Vendor.xml file, which is located C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader/ Vendor.xml, any time you change Software you will have to delete this file. I Hope this helps

    I want to know where those are found----what sites do people look at to see what's new

    there are people out there that actually take the time to go to the carrier sites, one by one and check for us isn't that nice

    Given the number of active members here on PinStack, I can guess that there is at least one person checking their carrier, for each carrier every day. And each one wants to be the first to post the news here one the stacks. Just as soon as he has completed his personal download that is. I end up checking AT&T about one a month or so, but I'm not one that just has to have the latest package. Unless it's 4.3 Released Package. (Ain't Found it Yet)

    BTW, this OS checker has been posted here for some time now. Mod, please put it on sticky.
