    What'd you switch from?

Most people tend to wait out their contract to get a new phone. Depending on key features they are looking for in a phone, the wide range of cell phones now being offered leaves the consumer a choice.

Others choose to upgrade or just purchase their new phone because they like most of us, like *new* toys.

Within the past year, I have gone from a pearl to a sidekick slide to an iphone to the sidekick lx to my newest baby, my. 8320. My god where has this phone been all my life!

    So out of curiousity,
Which phone did you switch from and why?

I love my BB. I'm proud to say I'm an BB Addict!

Been using Berries about 7 years, from an old Moto flip phone (v60). Kind of forced into it for the job I was at and fell in love with them! Haven't used another device since. I've had a 6xxx series, 7xxx series, 8700 and now my 8310 Curve.

    I came from an Cingular (AT&T) 8525.

I got the 8310 Curve and so far it's the best phone I have ever had. I should have tried BB's a long time ago.

Came from a Motorola Razr - it was a decent phone. But the Crackberry is way better!

Currently rockin' an 8130 - but considering a change to a full keyboard...any recommendations (aside from the obvious 9000)?
    Best of Luck!

I work for Sprint so I am basically locked into using Sprint phones (unless I want to pay a bill). I had a Samsung A900 before moving to my BB. My wife had a BB 7520 for a few years and I have always wanted one. She tried to discourage me by saying I had no need for one. Well I finally got a Curve two months ago and I love it.

Before getting my first BlackBerry many moons ago, I used a Palm device. I still remember getting the Palm Pilot Pro with a whopping 2 meg of memory!

Before that, we just used to beat on drums and listen for the echo.

Windows mobile to BB! Not a phone change, but a device change.

I always had Nokia handsets since my beginnings with att wireless to then cellular one to then verizon to then TMO. I finally discovered a smart device called Crackberry. From the first hit I felt as if scotty from Star Trek was beaming up and out of this world!

I have been with Sprint for the last three years.

MotoQ (used for a year), Instinct (returned after one week), and now I have the Curve
