I am happy with the 8310 for now but it should be noted that price due to my long-overdue upgrade discount with ATT played heavily to my selection. If I could have had a Nokia N95 for the same $80, I would have done it.

I think that if your BB experience develops with time the way that mine has, you will enjoy it more & more each day.

I also have had a lot of Nokias. One of my favorites (secondary to my ever present BB) was an E60 on Symbian. However nothing in my personal experience, with a massive number of phones, comes anywhere near the exemplary BlackBerry lineup of smart phones.

I would have to say that any bb that an owner chose that there comfortable using without many issues would have to be the best bb.I have owned the pearl which was my very first smart phone, then the 8300,now the 8310curve,and a new still in the box 8820.and each one has its own unique features!

I'm with you. My first BB was a 7130c. That was & is a great model. I was hoping that they would bring out a second generation of it with the only significant change being a reduction in thickness. I found the keys, key spacing & travel just perfect. Even though I have large hands, I found the keypad to be very easy to use & SureType a terrific input method. A much better keyboard than on my 8700c.

However once the 8300 was released the keyboard was greatly improved & very fast.

I agree, the 8320 is the best all around. It has all the BB functions and the normal functions people seem to rely on, like the camera.

I feel u fritter. The best bb is yet to come. I like the curve the best but the new devies this past year are just the 8700/7100 series devices with better software and features like gps,wi-fi, camera. 3G, faster CPU, more RAM.

LOL I see your 7105 finally died (what happened?). Had to find this thread to pick on you a little. Anyway, I had to keep this one going as I'm going to be the owner of an 8120 in a few weeks.

Reasons For The 8120 Being Better:

    External MicroSD card slot
Supports 8 GB MicroSD cards (I can have my entire MP3 collection on my Pearl)
    SureType Improvement (software and keyboard)
    Spell Checker
    Browser Improvements
Case included with phone (I'm still going to order a custom blue case to go with it)
Improved Headphone Jack (3.5mm) for use with other headphones (IPod)
WiFi (may not get used much but it's there if needed)

Hopefully more device colors come out soon. If I find out they are, I may hang onto my current 8100 a little longer.

As a consumer phone, likely the Curve. As a functional business phone there is only the 8830. I guess it depends on what you're doing with it????????

I'd say the curve series, it sems to have just the right combination of size and features.

8310/20 by far. The fact that RIM's CEO uses one says it all.
