I'd go with the 8700c
what you all pick if you the choice and why?
A: Cingular Wireless w/ BlackBerry 8700c
B: NEXTEL w/ 7100i
i can only choose from NEXTEL or Cingular
and only a 7100i from NEXTEL and 8700c from Cingular...
with this said, which would all of you BB pros pick and why? thank you very much...i have posted in other website forums and got nothing back thanks again...any help is greatly appreciated!
I'd go with the 8700c also. One big plus for the GSM models is that they don't have an antenna like the Iden BB's. Plus you can never go wrong with a full qwerty keyboard and EDGE
thank you for all of your responses, for most this would be an easy choice and go for the 8700c, but the only thing holding me back is the dust issue you know?
AFAIK The dust issue was fixed a couple revisions back; there were some other posts on various forums talking about the issue.

Even if you do get dust, taking the case apart is very easy to do. Or use a total body skin from bestskins.com to try and protect the BB from dust.(Btw I haven't had any issues at all with mine) I just ordered one and can't wait to use it!!
I'd recommend the 8700c
8700C on T-Mobile
If you're looking for location-based services (i.e. GPS), you'll need to go with the 7100i. The 8700c doesn't have GPS.

Easy question... 8700 straight UP, fo'sho!~
This device operates on the latest high speed wireless networks called EDGE, and it will also runs on Quad-Band network support on 850/900/1800/1900 MHz GSM/GPRS. I also like the full QWERTY keyboard layout. I'm using the 7100t (t-mo), and I don't care for SureType too much. I would prefer the full QWERTY keyboard.
Another kool feature is the polyphonic and MP3 ringtones!~ You can assign the ringtone to your contacts, very kool!~ It has built-in speakerphone, bright high resolution screen, and bluetooth. How kool is that?
That's my two centz, fo'sho!~
Oh, let us know what you decide on.
