Report it lost to my carrier, so that the SIM card was deactivated, Get a new SIM to put in my Backup BB, log in to the Carrier BIS website to change the PIN/IMEI to the old BB and Continue on until enough time for it to be returned if someone found it. Or The 9xxx is released .
And probably curse my stupidity the whole time for doing something that led me to lose my BB.

I have misplaced my keys. Misplaced my wallet. Misplaced my iPhone. Misplaced a car (long story). However, I have never missed place the BlackBerry that I use. And I say it that way, because I have a TON of BB's, but don't know where all of them are, except the ones I actively use (the 8100 I am sure will turn up someday though). ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

Panic, then search feverishly for it.

If you have your carrier deactive the sim, or otherwise get the carrier to process the phone as lost/stolen, i've heard rim can help also.

i've heard that rim can, with request from your carrier, permanently put the pin in a hole.
If i did that though, i'd be depriving someone of the joy of owning a blackberry.

I would get a new one via insurance (2 days later probably,) restore from backup, setup bis again and be happy again.

I would cry for sure. Then again, I'm not sure I would ever lose it. I've never been more than 10 feet from any of my Blackberrys.
