Welcome to the Stacks Nickie. I believe the $19.99/month unlimited international email plan with TMO is for the data. Wouldn't hurt to double check with them though.
i came to paris yesterday.will stay here for few months.
i got my bb 8700 from t mobile.
i first try to add international unlimited email plan so my friends can send me email that i can get instantly.
it costs additional $20 monthly.
i'm not sure if there is charge for receiving data for emails
another thing is the BB messenger i've been using it with my close friends while i was in the states.
but i'm gonna stay in paris for a while. i want to keep in touch with all those friends.
i know it doesn't cost to exchange pin msg in the states but from what i've known it's based on data exchanging
t mobile charge data sending and recieving while in abroad.
i am not sure if they are going to charge me for using the BB messenger?
please help me out!!!

thanks but t-moblie rep told me the unlimited email plan covers only email not the data.
i need to know if they will charge me for using blackberry IM in paris.
if they charge me how much that will be? i also need to know that
Just a thought, perhaps you should ask your T-Mobile rep?
well doenst email works as data? maybe you should ask them if theres international unlimited data?Originally Posted by nickie
i think what t mobile mean is that any data sent via email is covered on the unlimited plan however any data used via wap/bb messenger etc isnt covered.
