with the file sharing abilities, that would mean a Virus, you would have to have a virus program..........if you want to share file use BLUETOOTH..

If your not sure on how to use bluetooth via your BB pearl, i can tell ya..

Thats how me and my friends share music, pics, and some applications..

I would like to connect a USB storage device to my mini USB socket to expand the memory for files and songs, etc. Would that be hardware or software application? I have a 7130g.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ I would like BB to have a native (built into OS) spreadsheet with full file portability. BT transfer that VZW can't exclude would be nice too. Ditto USB memory expansion as mentioned.

Re: What 3rd Party Application Would You Like To See Developed?

Having recently been introduced to the BB platform from PPC due to a change of jobs, I'm not sure if some of these exist but the apps I miss the most from PPC days are:

    Pocket Informant.
    TreeNotes.
    Dockware Pro.
    Conversions in Hand.
    TextMaker.
    PlanMaker.
    CityTime.
    MemoryMaid (or SKTools).

From the hardware perspective I miss the loss of the Camera & therefore MMS, the voice recorder, memory slot (I have a 8700g).

I also think ability to plug in a USB thumb drive for additional storage would be neat.

    Cheers.

I would like to see my blackberry (BIS) being able to sync wirelessly with Google as a replacement for Outlook.

Blackberry can sync (I think) with Google calender and Gmail (for addresses) but nothing is available for Tasks and Memopad.

I wish Google came out with some software so that I can dump Microsoft totally and use google full time. (replacement for microsoft outlook and microsoft office).

I would like to see somethimg like openoffice for the BB. Also the ability to use my 8703e's usb port as a serial device to program equipment. I have seen mentions of this but have not heard anything definite.
