You can take it apart and try to dry everything out by hand. You may need to get a new battery. No chance of a warranty claim when water is involved.
Maybe you can claim it on your homeowner's insurance.

Laundered? As in put in the washing machine?

If so, I'd really have to say, never again,

Congrats on your new paperweight! Haha I'm sorry for your lose.

Do not plug in or even install the battery! If you could dissasemble it all and place the mother board with screen removed in the middle of a towel then holding all four corners of the towel and manualy spin drying it this helps get the water out the small crevices-make shure not to break it so be very carefull also dry everything blow dry it too!not to close that the heat will burn a small circuit or something but this usualy brings electronics back from the dead!

Well i think there is a thread on how to take it apart, i droped mine in a deep puddle a few months ago too, but i pulled the battery out right away and dried it over night, assembled it the next day and it workes fine (or you could sell off the parts that are still good)

    Good Luck.

Just keep the battery out of it. Don't want anything short circuiting. There's still a chance to save it. Maybe. Good luck.

If you are going to have detergent or any built up inside u can use "contact cleaner" to clean it off after u take it apart its 100% safe for electonic parts, electricians use it to clean dust and buildup off electrical load centers, its a liquid spray that dries out with no residue left behind

I feel for you. Something similar happened to me this past weekend. I have now learned that drinking alcohol and using your berry at the same time do not mix! lol Mine had a drink spilled on it. It took all night sitting apart to work again. Its a helpless feeling for a true berry addict! I hope yours comes back to life.

I have read somewhere in PinStack that you can water rinse your BB after taking it apart to get rid of anything like detergent, and then leave the BB in a ziploc bag of rice for a while.

I can't remember the thread, but when I find it I'll post it here.
    BlackBerry Rocks!<-Check it out!

I was going to suggest the rice thing. My wife washed her ipod and the rice trick worked for that.. Good luck~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~
