With weatherbug you need to be certain your APN settings are correct or it will not update. Something I know all to well.

Neither...I love My Cast Weather, I have used it for years. Yes, it is paid app but well worth it to me. I just an issue with the app, due to data issue I believe, and Digital Cyclone (makers) had me fixed with 2 emails when it took at&t 2 days and they still had no clue!

Ok, so in Weatherbug, at the top, at first there is a blue bar. Once it downloads all the info after updating, the blue bar goes away, and it's just white, that says ERROR in it. I'm guessing that's supposed to be ads that aren't showing up, or something like that?

WeatherBug Direct all the way...I like to be able to see the weather right on the icon and see if there are any weather alerts by the blinking icon.

that used to be true with the old weatherbug program for windows 98. But these are mobile versions and bug free

Mine was basically my ignorance with using an unlocked device from another carrier. I didn't realize I had to replace tmo APN settings with at&t. Felt kinda stupid, but it worked out.

I've used WeatherEye, WeatherBug and now BB Weather. I'm currently comparing WeatherBug and BB Weather, both of which use stations very close to my home. I think I'm liking BB Weather better, but will keep you posted!

I downloaded and installed weatherbug, not direct...is it only a trial? It didn't say anything about it being a trial, nor ask if I wanted to buy it...

Anyone have any idea about the error I mentioned above?

Same here. I've never had to mess with settings when I've downloaded things on my phone before, so I wasn't sure why it wouldn't work after download. Oh well...

I took a look at that one, Red. Didn't see an option to display any information on the home screen. These other applications display at least the temperature on the application icon. Does Midlets do any of that?

Nothing on the icon... I guess if that's a priority for u, this won't cut it...

Priority for me is having atleast 4 locations, a good gui and accurate weather info... It does that pretty well...

    But alas... No icon info...

    Can't have everything I guess...

Yeah, I want to be able to see the temp at a glance without having to enter the application.

For you other BB Weather users, does it provide alerts like WeatherBug does? That comes in handy as well.
