Weathereye.. because it's free! I have no problems with paying for a good app, but I just don't use the weather app that much to justify paying for one.

Actually, I don't like either. I prefer BBWeather and WeatherBug Direct. Both can be found on the Mini Version Tracker list. Click the link in my signature.

WB. Forecast is almost always dead on for my area and the national weather alerts rock. Icon on home screen even turns red to let you know when there is an alert. Extensions give you icons for pollen, severe tropical storms, forecast (high/low) and even air quality/UV index. And as said, its free.
You connect to internet for extended forecast, which you can see by day or hour, for locations you save. It was invaluable during the snow last week.

I use the WeatherEye and for my area it has been very upto date so I like that app better.

I prefer weatherbug direct as you can see in my review here . I can't even give my true opinion on weathereye because it doesn't support my town. Here is a review of weathereye as well. I am sure if it supports where you live then its great. With weatherbug I have not found an unsupported city.

Is Weatherbug different than Weatherbug Direct? I just downloaded it and it's
nowhere near compatible for the Storm...

The link I used was http://blackberry.weatherbug.com/download

I couldn't get Weatherbug to work and then I was advised not to use it because of Trojans (both PC and for mobile--I don't know if this is accurate or not). I'll see if there is another app I can use.

I have used weather bug for years and have never had issues. The free version is ad based but that doesn't mean it is loaded with trojans. It is used by numerous news channels, schools etc.... To bad it doesn't work for you it is actually pretty cool.

It looked cool, but I tried several times to dl and did Quick Pull each time, but it wouldn't respond so I stopped and deleted.
