    watching Videos

when watching videos the keyboard backlight should turn off when the screen dashboard disappears and light up when you hit a key...save some battery juice!

the light from the kb takes away from the video and is especially too bright on a plane ride (in the dark...too bright.)

I have the same problem, the video playback is interupted when the back-light times out after 2 minutes max. My first thought was that there would be something in settings but I can't find anything to change.~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

you need to turn on "full Screen" mode

hit the menu button and select full screen...the dashboard will go away after a few seconds of watching video.

Isn't that a 4.3 option? For us mortals that own Pearls, we do not have this yet ...

On a curve, the full screen is an option. Is it different for Pearls?

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~so this will prevent my curve from going completely black when watching a video? Last time I tried to watch a video it locked up on me. As if the phone was just sitting there

    its 4.2 option

i forgot about all the pearl users with older OS

still would be nice for the ball and kb to time out with the dashboard and just have the screen playing.
