What the heck are they gonna replace it with? A CDMA version of the Flip 8220?

I would have thought they would have come out with a CDMA version of the 8220.

Kinda sad that I ran to get the 8130 when she first came out cuz I wanted to be on the cutting edge - with the "video" blackberry and now same cutting edge premise with the "touchscreen" bb - hope I don't fall for this marketing ploy known as "planned obsolescence" , that would probably happen if RIM came out with touchscreen/keyboard hybrid.

Any other confirmation other than that?? The 8703 was listed like that last year after the 8130 came out, and it is still there.

I love technology! Where else can you have something become antiquated when you walk out the showroom with it?

I know that some people I work for have had issues with the 8130, especially with its speakerphone and whatnot. Maybe the device is just causing Verizon more headaches than they think it's worth. I personally haven't had many issues with mine, other than the trackball gunking up every now and then. Still Jonesin' for a Curve, though. Or maybe a Bold... (Probably going to jump off the Verizon ship whenever the contract is up, or sooner if they don't fix the tower by the house soon.)
