To participate, you need to meet the following criteria:
The beta will begin mid-next week and run for 2 weeks. Participants will earn free use of the software during the beta period and for 3 months after public release of the product. Be one of the first users to try our software and have direct input into how the product evolves.
- At least 21 years old
- Have a Pearl, Curve or 88xx
- Are interested in using voice to interact with your BlackBerry
- Live in the US
If you are interested in participating, please fill out the short (5-10 minute) questionnaire located here:
All information you provide will be kept confidential and used only for the purpose of qualifying you for vlingo usability and beta tests. Participation will be limited to the first 100 users who respond.

Already filled out the pre survey and am waiting
Hm..how come you have to be at least 21 years of age?
I got all the way to the part where they ask for contact info. I know they say they wont call you to try to sell stuff but I really dont believe that
I applied... worse comes to worse i can change my phone number lol
They sent me a text back asking me to send them my number. I did so we'll see. I'm like Stacey there's always options
submitted the survey and replied back with my phone number...haven't heard anything yet...
Just FYI guys ive been with Vilingo for quite some time to the pre-quil of the beta testing and they havent called me once i actually emailed them to call me and they actually called me LOL, trust me from an fellow pinstackers word they've been great and since then they have only emailed me updates or feedback responses. I believe what happens is that they assign the activation by your phone# not your PIN# correct me if im wrong amischke.

I have also been a (pre?)beta tester for vlingo for some time and have never had anything but professional behavior from this company! They have never called me and only use email for official communication. I'm very impressed with the company and the application!
