Unlock your blackberry without mailing it off.

I can now unlock 7100v blackberries so that you can use it with other networks. I can also do this without you sending me your blackberry. All you need to do is send your IMEI# via email and i'll send back your unlock code.

My turn around time is 24 hours....and i think a fair price is $50.00, which is less than half of what i've seen offered and you have no shipping cost!

I am working on unlocking the 7100x without having the device sent to me, and i'll let you know how that goes.

I also unlock the 7230 as well.... actually i unlock anything Vodafone.

Just letting ya know.. if you need it... i've done several this week and not one problem.

I should add how handy this is to avoid roaming charges for the UK users... to be able to use a local network card while traveling is incredible.....

If you unlock your BB you can use it on other carrier networks.

Tweber if you unlock your 7290 from Cingular you could switch to t-mobile without have to buy a new device.

No for the most part they are O.K with it. I was using a 7290 on T-Mobile before they released their version.

Sometimes the PIN and IMEI are associated with another carrier so they (T-Mobile) had to contact RIM and release the PIN and IMEI so that it can be used with another carrier. At least that was the case when I did it.

    BB 7780 Unlock??

I bought my BB 7780 off eBay about a month ago. I am trying to see if my BB 7780 is already unlocked. I went to the Cingular website for Former AT&T customers. I have updated the software thru this website.
Does anyone know if it is usable on Cingular's network? I was told by a Cingular tech (online) that it would have to be unlocked first before it can be used on Cingular's network.
There is also the question if the BB's phone functionality works. Is there away to check this?? I have tried to go to the Cingular kiosk in a mall and try a SIM card but it is not an active one so it gave the error "insert SIM card." :ahh:
Does anyone know a place that will unlock it for less than $100.00? Bongo Wireless wants $100. I only spent $80.00 on the BB 7780. I just don't want it to become too costly. Haallpp!!!!

No, that was an AT&T model and since the merger Cingular will not have anything to do with unlocking of old AT&T phones. Bongo is the only known place to unlock BB's right now.

I say put it back on ebay and just get yourself a 7280 thats already locked to Cingular. You can find them on ebay, even unlocked ones. You can find them under for $150.

carriers actually love it when you use a unlocked phone on their network. to add a customer to the network, it costs approx. $700 (canadian), and 90% of that is the phone cost in most cases. they love having people paying them, and not having to give them a phone at a discounted price. it's pure profit for them to have people bring their own phones onto the network.
