    uniform service standards

Rim should enforce a Uniform standard of service across all
Carriers. That is unless you need a scapegoat for your short comings as a manufacturer. Why does one carrier cause more unhappy users then another?

Well its like McDonalds, when I go to a fast food chain I know that by purchasing a specific meal I will get the same thing every time from coast to coast. If I order a big mac that's what I get, not an interpretation of a big mac but the trademark sandwich!

That said, RIM can learn to apply that same principle, and people would be happy to do business with you and your trademark would mean somthing.

I can agree too but RIM has nothing to do with the price in Canada this price are dictate by 2 reasons here: Same cellphone provider and land line provider...... Government charging A LOT to provider for their data network
I'm french canadian so I can also help you in french, just PM me
UNLESS it is for a BETA OS, it's at your own risk and I won't support it

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~sorry to hear about the monopoly in
The great white north, but you have a healthcare system that
Has to be funded some how, and then there's the exchange rate
That makes it the same as our highest priced provider(verizon) .but canada suports free enterprise so maby, in the future they will get some of our carriers to move that way and expand their market
I live in the highest taxed state so I feel you. they tax what I make, spend, save and my personal property like my motorcycle and tools ,car fuel
And soon the air no that's the clean air tax .any way its all the same but not the same its
A free for all for our coin
So I demand what I pay for till the end

There's no way a cellphone maker will force carriers for anything, they can agree on some stuff but that's it.
