Here's a tip to make your _Trackball_ last longer.
Use the enter key whenever possible instead of pushing in on the trackball to choose, or select, or issue a command. It also gives your thumb a break....

The trackball is great to have. But I wore mine out on my pearl pretty quick. So I have learned as many short cuts as possible to minimize the use of the track ball so it will last longer. I have also found that it is actully easier to navagate my bb using shortcuts apposed to constantly using the trackball. ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

Yeah, it's cool when we catch each others typos. I always proofread before I post & I _still_ miss a few...going too fast..

I found that a new micro fiber towel moistened with alcohol cleans the trackball best between times when it must be removed for a complete service. Other cloths do not pickup as much dirt from the ball as microfiber.

And since I just experienced a trackball problem that left me without my BB for almost a week, I strongly encourage everyone to buy a spare trackball ahead of time. That's cheap insurance!

I could not agree with anything more. I have a couple on stand by just in case. And why a couple you might ask. Wouldn't it be nice to be a hero to a close BB friend if their track ball goes bad too? Always gotta look out for the other guy too! regards cHAd
