    Hello All,

We have been tasked with the job of providing a "Tip of the Week" for our BB executives.

I have seen all the ususal tips. My question is, does anyone have any killer tips that they use that I can share with my users?

    Thanks for any help!

    Daev

Use auto text for signatures. Create one for formal and another for replies.

    I agree with Tweb.

Auto text for signatures makes it very easy to close an e-mail in a professional way via BB and save time.

I send out occasional tips to our users as well. Here are some of them that I've sent out in the past:

    - Auto Backlight (using BBLight)
    - Deleting multiple messages (not Delete Prior)
    - Managing Call Logs ('hiding' call logs)
    - Moving/hiding icons
    - Calling phone numbers with letters (or using dial by name directories)
    - Basic phone usage tips
    - Hiding sent items (after we upgraded to BES 4.0)
    - Toggling between applications
    - Using Berry 411

Feel free to email me if you'd like any of these. We're on BES 4.0 and 90% of our users have Nextel devices (but I think these will work on other devices, depending on what device software the user has).

I forgot to mention. Scotch tape is a good quick easy-to-find screen cleaner. Run the tacky side of the tape on the screen and it removes all the oil and grime from use.

Toggling between applications is a great tip: hold the Shift key and then hit the escape key. A pop up list of your apps appears, just scroll to the one you want and bingo you are there.

It may not save a lot of time (or clicks), but to quickly change to a different profile just highlight the profile and press the space bar. Saves having to click the wheel and click Enable.

Also, for fields have have multiple values (like when you're in an 'Options' page), you can just press the space bar to change the value of the field - rather than clicking the wheel, clicking 'Change Option', selecting the new value and clicking again.

The space bar works to check or uncheck a checkbox as well.

Do you actually make contact with the screen? Doesn't the tape have a sticky residue on the adhesion side?
