    Thinking about getting Blackberry's

    Hi,

Hope I am posting in the right place, I have been tasked with looking into getting 5 blackberry's for my work.

We run exchange server 2003, and want certain employees to be able to pickup email on the go. I dont think we will be able to afford an Enterprise Server, so I will most likelly just setup forwarding through the exchange server. (i.e. phil@mydomain.co.uk is forwarded to phil@blackberry.net , or whatever)

Thats fine, what I need to know is can I set it up so that they can reply to email messages using the balckberry but the message appears to come from phil@mydomain.co.uk rather than phil@blackberry.net .

Hope I have made my self clear, and thanks in advance for any reply's

    Phil

    Phalanx,

Yes this is possible, all you do is set it up on the BIS account.

You can fill in the reply email address and it then looks like the mail comes from that reply address and when and if someone replies it sends it back to the work account.

You can also put the work account in as a blind CC so that they get copies of all the sent messages.

    Hope this helps.

    Regards,

You might want to check into BES Express. It's free with one license and you pay a small amount for additional users. IIRC, licenses are transferrable to a full BES should you decide to switch down the road.
