    Hi guys.

    I got it to work on my 8130 earlier today. Running 4.5.0.131. I downloaded the direct file from blackberryos for the Curve since I am using 4.5. Once I realized that trying to install it from the DM would not work. I googled BBM 5.0 8100. I got a link that took me to the instructions on replacing said files in the folders that have been mentioned here. That worked perfectly.

    I've been happily enjoying my new BBM 5.0 on my Pearl ever since.

    Looks good here. I saw a couple messages saying the 83xx needed to be 4.5.0.131 for it to work but I had no issues on the ATT provided 4.5.0.124...

    Edit: I downloaded mine OTA via a google search for "Blackberry Messenger 5.0 ota" from one of the first couple sites.

    Is anyone else experiencing difficulties with the new BBM? It seems like they take forever to go and come through... Rebooted and did a batt pull several times... I've experienced this on my 8830, but also friends have reported same issues on 8310 and Bold.

    Any suggestions?

    no issues for me here, both 8900 and Bold running smooth
    When i say i have Bold family phones, I meant it, from the older to the younger, even the unborn ;)

    Is anyone having issues where they have added someone as a contact, deleted that contact and re-added the contact and they still show up as Pending (Waiting For Authorization)?

    Issue solved. Took deleting and readding again to correct the problem.

    im having the same issues on my Flip. But eventually they go thru. Late, but they go thru.

    i had that issue in the morning but everything ok right now, wonder if it is a carrier issue, maybe? are you on tmobile guys

    i dont know, im connected to my job's wifi. ill see how it is when i disconnect later. i usually never have trouble with tmo. ive used their service since omnipoint!

    T-Mobile user here. I love the new interface and options. Getting used to finding options in new places. I love the new display picture. I wish that was around when I first got my 7730. But I have one contact who says they are not able to see my picture. This was after I deleted and re-added that contact 3 times.

    As far as service goes, I have been able to get from 2 to 5 full bars in my house. Last night I got "Searching For Network" in my own home. WiFi won't connect fully even though I don't have the WiFi feature anymore.
