Does anyone have a connection to an EDGE network where they live?

I am in the UK. My old phone would pick up EDGE no problems but my 8120 will not.

It has been replaced and I have had other issues with it but this one is frustrating as Orange UK will not say which towers are upgraded to EDGE.

Can anyone who can get on to an EDGE connection have a look in the e-screen for any setting that is about EDGE?

One very strange thing happened:

On a BlackBerry 8900:

1) I enabled the escreen (not using your keygen but my test keygen..which gives same results anyhow).
2) I lokked at all options.
3) I took the date 2 months forward.
4) I checked alt+cap+h and escreen was gone.
5) I put the date back to normal. (and escreen was gone).
6) THE PROBLEM: now I can't enable the escreen anymore.

I wonder what's happened!
Any clue?

You have to generate a new code. Once you've exited the e-screen, your phone up time has changed.

The algo is so simple to reverse..
I have done it in javascript
Iwill soon put it online on my blog.

Ok the escreen now are working..
And I coded a javascript self contained html page.

This is the result (the PIN is fake)



It works online or on the blackberry itself
The trick is only to SWITCH application back and forth from the browser to the Help Me! Screen.
I just tested it and it works offline too

Keep in mind I can't/won't do anything with the info you give me. Most people (including me) have their app version and PIN posted anyway. The uptime is just how long your BB has been powered up, but its needed for the access.
I'm only showing this because we may be able to figure out how to unlock the 95xx series. There's quite a few more menus, and ton's more information within these screens.
P.S If your not sure about what something is while your in there DON'T just turn things on and off. You might permanently brick your BB!

Thyth...i need help!...I need to get this escreen asap....b/c something went wrong with my camera....keeps saying close apps and try again...it just wont work...and i wiped my device clean and reinstalled my OS.....no apps on it at all...
