Okay, I definately think these are some idears for RIM to think about when designing their next device..

    1. 2 Micro SD slots, one to hold your media, the other expands memory for apps and themes

    2. Bring back the colored LED for the trackball (as well as the light under the keypad, would love to see that in red or blue)

And yeah, that's it. We already have 4.5 doing streaming videos which is awesome, thanks for the HTML email it rocks, and dig the updated MEdia Player. Rock on RIM!

    I second option number 1

2 micro slots would be great.
on the curve I have the slot is under the battery.
and the pearl I had the micro SD slot was in the side of the phone.

do both of them one expands internal phone memory and the other like it is now.

I'm really glad that the curve comes with like 86mb stock but I'd love to be able to expand that. and your idea justyn about 2 mem card slots would be awesome!!!!

seriously doubt that will happen. The deciding factor is the processor. Upgradeable ram means more work that the processor have to do. Resulting the phone dragging slow when you open more applications. Lets remember, more ram means more programs to have open, but more work on the processor. And its not like you can put a c2d inside that phone.

How about, instead of track balls RIM adds a small flat analog like the PSP. Just as small to fit in the track balls spot.

I like the trackball. Touch screens are cool but I don't think that they'll go all out on those. What if they used a sensor to replace the trackball? You touch it and it senses your finger.

I would like to keep the trackball, but add touch capability to select the icons too.

Exactly. Whats next? Making phones laptops or laptops phones. These types of processors consumes a lot of power, especially compared a cell phone processor.

Soon enough, we'll be walking around with laptops on our ears...
Imagine getting a phone call while walking with one of those..

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~I love all your ideas but I still love my 8700. So I would love a bb with all the updated ft. Like a real media player, the micro sd slots, able to stream radio, and watch live tv. And all with the 8700 body still with the trackwheel on the side. That would be great......maybe I'll see how much Rim would charge to make one for me. I'll pay good money for that.
