is there a way i can tether my BB without charging it all the time? Will that destroy my battery from massive tethering?

does the battery get damaged if you charge it without letting it run down?

I don't think the battery will get damaged, however I know it is recommended to let the battery completely drain out and recharge every so often to preserve the life of the battery.
    Good luck with it!

I use Connection Manager by Sprint to tether, and I can remove Desktop Manager without effecting my tethering, which will also eliminate my BB from charging.

Any step-by-step instructions on using bluetooth. I have a funny feeling that I don't have all the needed services. Services currently listed on my BB for bluetooth are just headset and dial-up networking.

If anyone has a clue how to use dial-up networking or setup blue tooth connectivity to let my PDA surf the web, I would be very greatful.

    Thanks...

dial up networking is exactly what you need. I don't know step by step, but I know you'll be able to do it with dial up networking.

Li-ion batteries don't need to be run down from time to time, that was the old ni-cad batteries. You won't harm a BB battery by always keeping it charged.

No. It's Li ion. You might want to read up on Li ion batteries. You're thinking of NiCad or NiMH.
