    Telenav requires a subscription fee.

    Nav4all is free.

Yahoo Go! Maps is a new option and it looks to be free of charge. Yahoo Go v2 looks solid and seems to be free of advertising banners. v3 is new but is buggy with occasional Java crashes and has advertising banners.

Telenav has a lot more options.
Nav4all will not show a map while navigating.
    Yahoo Go does not navigate.
    Google maps will not navigate.

Hmmm, looking at Yahoo Go as I type, under Local & Maps it has a Driving Directions option with optional start and destination points. The start point can be an address or current GPS position. After those are set I get turn by turn instructions. I haven't tried using it while traveling yet. Also not sure if there's a voice direction option.

Hey oldgeek, actually you can show a map while navigating with Nav4all. Just hit either "2" on your keypad (to show the complete route) or "0" (to show your current position), or hit the esc key and go to map and either "show route in map" or "show my position".
