Question Talking or PIN / SMS

Is it me or is pin / sms better than talking sometimes? I just dont understand how people can talk all day then get off work and then get on thier mobiles and talk about nothing.

Maybe it's just me but PIN / SMS / GMAIL makes so much easier to talk and chat.

    Am I crazy?

    BTW - I use 8700 C

    Pin me anytime.
    Suerte

Re: Talking or PIN / SMS

No, you are not crazy...SMS and Pins are better than talking in many occasions such as:

Talking behind someones back to someone else in the room.
Cheating on a test or entrance exam.
Telling your mistress that you are with the wife and can't talk right now.

I am just kidding...I know what you mean...I prefer SMS and PIN over voice about, oh, 90% of the time.

I use SMS for those who can't shutup
Too many thoughts running through their minds and they can't verbalize them into a coherent single thought.

With SMS you force them to get directly to the point.

I have a friend who always phones me in response to SMS, because he's too lazy to type back the answer.

Or my favourite: I text someone for another person's phone number, and I get a phone call back: "do you have a pen....?"

    How many times???

    Too many.

Why not just text back the phone number?

I prefer SMS as oppose to Voice unless there is something important to communicate and too long for SMS. And usually I will follow that by email just for the record.

I agree! Texting is much better. In my job I talk all day so its refreshing to text.

Re: Talking or PIN / SMS

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ many people these days prefer text or email to voice because of the paper-trail left behind. A phone call cannot be verified unless recorded, text or email show proof of what was said. That's another reason behind why I prefer emails over voice.

SMS is also nice if you are in a public area and do not want your conversation being overheard.
