    Switching Blackberry devices

I currently have the blackberry 8800 and a pearl, but my mom has the curve and she wants to switch with me. The only problem we are facing is that she is currently set up with her work email through a work server. Does anyone know if just putting her simcard in the phone will keep her set up or do i have to do other stuff also. Can someone please let me know asap. Thank you!

she will have to have her IT person activate or give her an activation number. They/she will need her new PIN and corprate email to enter on the set up wizard. My IT guy just gave me a code good for 24rhs so I was able to enter the code and activate it. It's not difficult- just need the nod from IT

So she just needs the PIN to set up the email? She already knows the cooperate email.

she will need an activation code given to her from her IT person or whomever is in charge of the Enterprise Server. Know what I mean?

Simply put, its literally a 10 min setup with a pin, a call to the it boys, and a password...

The rest will be ancient history...

If she's using any of her personal email addresses, she'll have to remove those manually and then add them to the new device...

N voila... You are now free to move about the country...

You can also use the Blackberry switch Device wizard to transfer/Import data to your other blackberry device. You can import your messages, organizer data, and various applications and even BES connection options to your new device.

to setup BES on your new device
    Go to Options>Enterprise Activation
    Email:Enter corporate email
Password: (Password provided by the IT guys) who are responsible for the Enterprise Server
And confirm the PIN with the IT guys as well...The New PIN of the Device
