    Strange Email quirk

    So I recently got back into BB's after a short break and I'm having an issue with one of my email accounts. I will send an email from Outlook on my work computer, and when it is replied to I will only receive it on my blackberry. Anybody have any ideas what could be going on here? It only happens with my work email, but it happens ALL THE TIME. Oddly enough, though, when I forward them to my work email from my blackberry (using my work email) they come right through to Outlook. Thanks in advance!

    UB...

    First lets confirm the address you are getting replies to. Please go into one of the emails that only came to your blackberry, open it and scroll to the top. Make sure that the "received using" email address show is the expected work email...

    I just updated my OS so all my emails are gone, but I do remember verifying that the emails received on my BB were received using my work email. Over the course of the day I will double check that, however.

    Please also confirm you are using BIS. Have you installed Desktop Manager? if so are you sure that you did not install Redirector?

    Sorry. Yes to BIS, I have DM version 4.6. I also have 4.5.0.97 installed as my OS if that makes a difference

    One more question. You are getting all of your emails in Outlook except the replies to emails sent from your BB - is this correct?

    Please check this setting:
    Options - Advanced - Default Services
    Make sure Messaging is set to your correct email address.

    I would also like you to log in to your BIS website and edit the settings for your work email address. When that screen comes up confirm the "reply to" address is the correct work email.....

    okay, I changed the CMIME option to my work email, and now it appears to be working. I don't know enough about it to know what that did, but as long as it works I sure don't care.

    So for now, I'm cautiously optimistic lol.. thanks a lot!

    Can you actually tell me what changing that option is meant to do?

    Your outbound messages were actually being sent from the default email service listed, so the replies were going back to that email address. That's why they only appeared on your device and not in Outlook.....
